Walks
Littlewell is situated in the heart of the New Forest and so lends itself to many beautiful Forest walks, no matter the time of the year.
Cycling
For the more active and adventurous, there are great cycle routes in the surrounding area. You can hire bikes direct from the cottage.
Neighbouring Villages
Explore and make the most of the New Forest's pretty villages including Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and Lymington which are all very close
Pubs & Restaurants
Within walking distance of Littlewell, there are numerous great pubs and restaurants, offering a range of food from good pub grub all the way to fine dining. - try the famous and world renowned restaurant "The Pig" , only a short walk away!
The Beach
Littlewell is amazingly only a 15 minute drive to the glorious, sandy Highcliffe beach - a great way to spend a British day. A slightly further drive are the lovely beaches of Bournemouth.
Horse Riding
There are many stables in Brockenhurst that enable you to ride around the beautiful New Forest, exploring the lesser known parts of the Forest; a perfect activity for any standard of rider.
Sea Water Baths
The Lymington Sea Water Baths are also another great activity for the whole family, and is only a 10min drive away. Whether racing through the 200 metres of inflatable obstacle course, trying to keep balance on a Stand up paddle board, or aqua jousting, the Sea Water Baths will keep your family more than entertained!
Multi-Use Games Area
Littlewell Cottage is a 2 minute walk from MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) where you can kick a ball and shoot some hoops, as well as there being all sorts of other activities to play.
